our hyphenated is ruralmergent.

It has been well documented that Emergent took root in urban, transitional, suburban and exurban spaces. I am leaning against the tent-door to open its generative friendship wider for those of us in rural settings, those along one-lane state highways or at terminal dirt roads; those of us who either are part of the homestead rennaissence, the voluntary-albeit-rural simple lifestyle, or backpacking gypsy nomads en route, who find themselves many kilometers from reliable wi-fi or who are happy to live off the grid. this conversation is for us as well. I use the term ruralmergent. Maybe it'll stick.
